The finals of the West Brom Open take place tomorrow and the Summit Garage Premier League have 14 players in the field with three clubs having two entries each. Two come from the George as Elliot McGuinness plays Bill Kinchin from Moseley CC and Matt Price has the unenviable task of taking on Callum Wraight from Castlefields, who won the St Georges Open last week. Bill’s team mate James Seville takes on Paul Lamb of King George V, while the other team with two players is Great Barr, with former winner Ben Harris playing another winner in Simon Coupe, and Joe Bown taking on Dan Petcher from Netherseal. Wrockwardine Wood captain Martin Gaut plays Danny Sillitoe from South Yorkshire, while St Georges’ Lewis Scott takes on Reece Farr. Matt Higgins of Royal Oak is up against Chris Worthington, who played for Hadley USC last season. Willenhall Nordley’s Paul Evans plays former Boldmere St Michaels’ player Mark Denman. Nathan Dawes of Dudley Dell plays Ian Wassell.
Other games include former winner Graeme Wilson against Paul Stretton, Matt Bower versus Neil Wright, Francis Penlington takes on Terry Maritza, Gary Owen playing Martin Lloyd, Sam Millward against Andrew Gallagher and Mark Burdet versus Matty Stewart.
