Greg Smith became the first bowler to win the Ray Leath Memorial for a third time as he made it three wins a row at Willenhall Nordley. He beat Clay Flattley of St. Georges in the final 21-8 as he dominated the competition again. In the Semi Finals and both players won 12, with Greg getting past Keith Wall from Castlefields and Clay defeating M&B Cheslyn Hay’s Gordon Hawkins. Greg had defeated Callum Wraight 9 in his Quarter Final, while Keith beat fellow Shropshire player Colin Beaman of St Georges 12. In the bottom half and Gordon got past Paul Lamb from King George V 14 and Clay just edged past the Greville Arms’ Josh Hale 19.
