The 2018 Half Yearly Meeting took place tonight with 23 of the 28 clubs represented. Key points were:
- Match Fees will be proposed to increase for £2 to the Premier Division and £1.50 for Division One, increasing prize money by £1,900 across the Three Divisions.
- A trophy to be given to the winners of the Three Divisions that can be kept by them.
- Stricter rules on postponing matches to be enforced, as well as an addition of no games played after the last game of the season.
- A proposal on any player transferring to another club can play against that old club at home.
- A proposal that captains can ask opposition captains if shorts are allowed in hot weather.
- New penalties if dress code is not adhered to.
- Resignations, Applications and proposals proposed to move to 1st January instead of 1st October.
- A new deadline on registering players to be proposed.
- Three Magpies and Chadsmoor have dropped out of the league, 28 teams to either play in divisions of 10-10-8 or 10-9-9.
- If possible, teams without floodlights to play games away from home the first and last two weeks of the season.
