Sutton Park win well, Langley earn fab four
Sutton Park won big in Gameweek 4 of the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League as they beat Short Heath Libs 9-1. Chris Sadler was their best winner and MVP for his 21-9 victory, as Lee Hulse was the only winner for the visitors 17 to earn MVP. Langley got 4 winners at Willenhall Nordley B as their good start to the season continues. Captain Sarah Beaman said “an even paced Nordley green suited our bowlers. We played well as a team and there were a couple of close cards that went our way. A good result to have four winners and we hope to continue our good team performances. Happy Monday’s!” Sarah herself was best winner 13, but David Buttery was MVP 18. Mark Hall was best winner and MVP for the home side 10. Baddesley beat Wrockwardine Wood 8-2 with Tyler Dewis best winner 5 and Michael Lynch MVP for winning 6. Martin Williams was best winner 8 while Martin Gaut was MVP for running out from 20-15 down.
