Baddesley and Baldwin took a big stride for promotion to Division One of the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League in Gameweek 16 of Division Two. They both won at home 8-2 to move clear of Willenhall Nordley in 3rd, who were held to a 5-5 at home to Wrockwardine Wood. Baddesley had two 21-8 wins as their best from George Chapman and Michael Lynch, with the latter gaining MVP. Danny Statham was best winner and MVP for the visitors Heath Hayes 18. Baldwin also had two best winners in Paul Baller and Jim Kernick 6, but Michael Tandy was MVP 12. For their opponents Short Heath Libs, it was Terry Evans who was best winner and MVP 14. Willenhall Nordley were thankful for Jack Picknell winning 6 to secure the aggregate, with Mark Clayton getting MVP for winning 11. For the Wrockites it was Tony Garmson best winner and MVP 7. Broomfield beat Langley 7-3 in the other game. Daniel Chilton was best winner and MVP 4 for the home side, while Steven Jones was best winner for Langley 6 and Paul Rolls MVP 8.

Baddesley and Baldwin still remain in pole position despite losing in Gameweek 17 of Division Two in the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League.
