BowlsComps West Brom Open Day 2 Preview

Another quality field is set to be at West Brom today to chase another four qualifying spots. Former winner Callum Wraight from Castlefields looks to add to his Meole Open qualification, while Dudley Dell’s Nathan Dawes has also qualified there and at St Georges, so will try to make it three out of three. Glynn Storer and Lee Cavill of Windmill have plenty of competition experience, as well as Jason Groom of Penn. Chris Brown and last year’s finalists Matty Stewart will be expected to go far too.

The afternoon sees 2017 winner Ben Percival of Baddesley look to reclaim his title, with his team mate Tyler Dewis there. Tanworth In Arden’s Chris Baker and Kevin Hocknull of Willenhall Nordley are also there. Danny and Andy Ferris travel from the Potteries, and veteran Gerald Merry has plenty of experience in these competitions.
