Mike Beer of Castlefields won the 2019 Ray Leath Memorial Open after beating Chris Ward from M&B Cheslyn Hay 11 in the final. He led 11-3, and despite Chris getting back to 15-10, Mike kept his nerve and won the competition for the first time. In the Semi Finals he beat our League President John Newey of Woodfield 3 while Chris defeated Mike Tunstall 18. The Quarter Finals saw Mike get past Lewis Scott of St Georges 11, John defeat M&B Cheslyn Hay’s Aaron Tapper 19, Chris beat Ash Wellings 2 and Mike get past Dean Missere 15.
