There is a big game tonight as two title rivals clash in North Midlands. Atherstone Cons host the George with both teams in with a good chance of winning the league. Atherstone Cons find themselves 11 points off the Greville Arms with this game in hand, while the George are a further point behind with another game in hand after this, a week on Saturday at Moseley CC. George captain Elliot McGuinness says “we had a good win on Tuesday, we could easily have had 8 with two winners just slipping away from us. Big night tonight against Atherstone who we owe one too after their shock win on our green earlier in the year. Tonight’s result will have a big impact on who lands the league title and so well need to be up for it in order to come away with a good result.”
