The host club for the 2024 event is Garswood Hall on Saturday 10th August.
Club spokesman Nick Shaw says “our club is honoured to be chosen as the host venue for the 2024 Mel Evans Trophy and we look forward to continuing to support and help raise as much money as possible for the Mel Evans MBE Foundation. I’m sure our club members and the bowling community will embrace everything that the day has to offer. The prospect of welcoming some of the best bowlers in the sport as well as sporting icons can only further enhance our club’s growing reputation, whilst hopefully encouraging new people to take up the sport of Crown Green Bowls at the same time.”
Nick epitomises what this fantastic event is all about.
