Moseley face tough Nordley test, M&B look for another home win
Moseley CC face a tough Willenhall Nordley test in week 9 of the Premier Division of the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League. They host them, with captain Scott Saunders saying “we lost to Nordley last year, so going to have to be at the top of our game to win tomorrow. We have a full strength team and home form is good so optimistic.” Nordley had a great 9-1 win over Atherstone Cons last week, and know an away win will put them back in the hunt at the top. The Greville Arms host Tanworth in Arden knowing Tanworth will know their green well and are in the need of points, just like they are at the top of the league. M&B Cheslyn Hay are also in need of points at the bottom and will look for a third successive win at home as they host West Brom FSC, who got a good three points at the Greville last week. Skipper Jack Hill says “it’s going to be a well fought game. We know the job we need to do. Hard task ahead but we’re ready.” Stretton Anglesey have been in good form and will look to keep that up at home to Windmill, who after a solid start lost their last couple of games to the Champions. The George against Atherstone Cons has been postponed because of a bereavement.
