Well done to Boldmere Sports & Social Club who won Division One in their debut season to earn themselves promotion to the Premier Division for 2026.
After losing their first game at Tanworth in Arden, they beat Woodfield and then earned a come back draw at Penn which proved decisive. They kept having good wins at home and it wasn’t until they visited neighbours Hamstead that they got their first away win 10-2 which meant that promotion was all but assured. They followed this up with a 9-3 win at Victoria Park, a green many wouldn’t have seen before, and a home win over Langley sealed the title for them in their maiden season.
