Tanworth in Arden are in must win territory in week 12 of the Premier Division of the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League. They find themselves bottom and host the team 8 points above them in Baldwin. Captain Stuart Bishop knows it is a “big game tomorrow evening against a local club and a good home win is needed to stay in contention with other teams. The lads are looking forward to the challenge and get some revenge for last week’s result.” Baldwin will be looking to build on that win last week and keep up with the teams above who are playing at home this week. Moseley CC are two points above them and host Stretton Anglesey who are just 4 points off top, so know an away win would be massive for them. Willenhall Nordley are another two ahead of Moseley and host West Brom FSC who are now joint top and are another who know an away win would be huge. Nordley skipper Mark Jones says “as we continue to struggle away from home, it’s a must we get another good home performance tomorrow night. We go into it full of confidence after our last 3 home games.” League leaders Triplex host the Greville Arms after receiving their worst defeat of the season at the Champions last week and will be wanting a reaction from that to keep their top spot they’ve held for a long time now. The George come off a fine away win at Boldmere Sports & Social last week and will be wanting to not waste that when they host the same team, while Boldmere have already shared away wins with another team this season in West Brom FSC, and also won at Tanworth in their last away game.

Windmill will look for a big home win over winless Short Heath Liberals in week 12 of Division One of the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League. They are currently 7 points clear of M&B Cheslyn Hay who are on their bye week and will want to build a big a gap as possible before they catch up. Victoria Park and Woodfield are both two points behind M&B and meet in Stafford as they look to go ahead of them. Park captain Chris Ward says “in these dry spells being a park green its always a bit of a lottery with how we find the green pace wise but hopefully it will be to our liking and we can graft a decent result – the one certainty is it won’t be as quick as Woodfield!”
