The draw for the Free Press Cup has been made with all but four of the teams from our league. Dudley Dell take on M&B Cheslyn Hay in one of the 1st round ties, with the other seeing Tanworth In Arden having a tough trp to Hanwood from Shropshire. The 2nd round sees Short Heath Libs try to shock the Greville Arms, while The George and Moor Lane could be close given the strength of their home greens, while Woodfield and King George V would be unfamiliar with each other’s greens over the last few years. Penn have a tough tie against Newport from Shropshire, but will have plenty of players with knowledge of their green. St Georges play Windmill and Moseley CC take on the only North Midlands side in Haunchwood. The other tie is Willenhall Nordley against Shropshire’s Meole Brace.
