Penn edge out leaders, Ward End impress again
Penn edged out the leaders King George V in Gameweek 10 of the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League to keep their hopes of avoiding relegation going. They beat them 6-4 and by 6 chalks, with Ben Dixon MVP and best winner 8. They were thankful for Dave Lloyd running out from 19-13 down, Mick Brown from 14-12 down and Gary Cooper from 13-12 up.
