Greg Smith made the Semi Finals of the Talbot Trophy but again lost out just like the Autumn Waterloo 24 hours earlier. The George man got 19 off Glynn Cookson, fighting back from 20-13 down but left it too late. He had got one over on long term rival Callum Wraight of Castlefields 16 in the Quarter Final, after beating Kevin Wainwright and Jim Kenny 11 in the rounds before. Callum had beaten Andy Walker 8 and Tommy Johnstone 15. Our two other bowlers lost 1st round.
