The Mel/Les Evans MBE Invitation Classic Easter Monday 2021I have today made contact with all 32 invitees from last year. Given the continued uncertainty around vaccine roll out and the reopening of the hospitality sector, it now seems impossible for us to stage the event at Easter. I have canvassed all invitees to get their views on both options open to us. First being staging the event in Autumn, subject to safety of course. Second being to postpone until 2022. My view currently is that if we can stage the event safely and to the usual high standard in Autumn then that is what I will strive to achieve. If I cannot run the day to the standard Mel and Les deserve then normal service will be resumed in 2022. I will certainly not be compromising the safety of anyone in addition to the credibility of the event.Keep safe. Lynn
