Reigning Champion Wayne Rogers plays Paul Evans of Willenhall Nordley first game, while the player he beat in that final, Callum Wraight, has Andy Spragg first round. Greg Smith is another former winner of this competition and plays Gordon Hawkins, with Gordon’s team mate Chris Ward taking on Dave May. Former Champion of Champion Mike Beer has Ross Meese, with another former Champs winner Tommy Johnstone playing Cody Everitt. Shropshire Merit winner Spencer Clarke has a tough opener with former Derbyshire merit winner Dan Petcher, and 2019 Staffordshire Merit winner Nick Wyer plays Tom Skidmore. 2019 Midland Masters winner Jamie King takes on Damian Morrison, with the player he beat in that final, Stuart Rutter, playing former Wrockwardine Wood Open winner Scott Simpson. Scott’s Nordley team mate Mark Picknell has former Masters winner Gary Owen, with Dudley Dell’s Nathan Dawes facing Josh Towey. Windmill’s Darrell Handley has the George’s Russ Prosser, and the Greville Arms’ Darren Plenderleith faces Colin Beaman. Former Autumn Waterloo winner Jon Palmer plays Lee Johnstone.
