Baddesley cantered to the Division One title, winning the league by 23 points. They won their first four games, including a 10-2 win at Langley, before losing out at Wrockwardine Wood with 4 winners. After another 4 winners at Baldwin they won their 5 games to be a case of when they would win the league rather than if. They got 4 winners at nearest rivals Windmill and then wins at Triplex and Victoria Park sealed promotion and the title was secured at home to Wrockwardine Wood, despite just 2 winners at Woodfield and Hamstead in their last two away games. It was a fitting tribute for their former player and official Phil Brown, who we sadly lost recently.
