The George progressed from the BCGBA World Club Championships qualifiers on Sunday to qualify for the finals on 16th April.
They defeated Atherstone Cons by 4 in the first game, thankful for Marc Wilson winning 8 in one of their last two games on the green, after Atherstone had three best wins of 13 from Matt Horton, Alfie Knight and Liam Dennis. In the second game they defeated Lindal by 42. Marc Wilson was again best winner 4 with Adam Patrick close behind winning 5.
