Tanworth face tough home test, George have derby
Tanworth in Arden face a tough home test in week 15 of the Premier Division of the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League against an in form Willenhall Nordley. Captain Stuart Bishop says “our next 2 home games are massive as continue to fight for survival in the Premier. Tomorrows match v Nordley will be very tough as they are a very good team, full of quality players but the lads are looking forward to it and we will be looking to pick up every vital point.” Nordley know a win would put them right in the title picture. The George come off a blank two game weeks and face a derby test against West Brom FSC, who will need to make sure they don’t get dragged into trouble at the bottom after losing at home the other week. Atherstone Cons take on a buoyant Windmill side who beat the Greville well last week, but for most of them it could be their first visit to the Cons, who have been great at home all season. Moseley CC v Stretton Anglesey and the Greville Arms vs. M&B Cheslyn Hay have been postponed.
