Stretton Anglesey beat Moseley CC by one chalk as they boosted their chances of a maiden title in the Premier Division of the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League. Captain Paul Chamberlain said ” we were 3-1 down and 22 behind. Scott Follis was exceptional (to be best winner and MVP 5), and Grant Soller and James Seville played well. We somehow managed to drag it back 2nd four and win by 1. It keeps us in the mix although I think the George are still favourites. We could finish anywhere from 1st to 4th!” Best winner and MVP for Stretton was Ian Brown 5. It leaves Moseley 4 points behind with a home game against The George to come on Saturday. Skipper Scott Saunders said “the first four was good, the second four not so good!”
