Callum Wraight followed up his Meole Open success in regaining the Les & Mel Evans MBE Memorial Classic by beating Dave May 18 in the final. He had defeated county team mate Wayne Rogers, who had beaten defending champion Greg Smith in the Quarter Finals, Gareth Herbert, Chris Brown and Nathan Dawes.
