Greville win well away, West Brom earn fab three

The Greville Arms won 10-2 at M&B Cheslyn Hay in week 3 of the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League. Captain Josh Hale said it was a “fantastic result for us with big players missing but everyone put a shift in and we’re over the moon to come away with a win against a good Cheslyn Hay team.” Best winner was Nathan Caines 11, with Darren Round getting MVP for winning 20. Cody Everitt was best winner and MVP for the home side with his 3 win. Willenhall Nordley and the George both won 8-2 over Moor Lane and Tanworth in Arden respectively. Kevin Hocknull was best winner 2 for Nordley, but Scott Simpson got MVP for winning 3. Adam Walker and Richard Grant were the winners for the visitors 16 and 17, with the latter getting MVP. The George had Russ Prosser and Phil Clinton as best winners 7, with Phil getting MVP. Dave Clarke was best winner and MVP 13 for Tanworth. West Brom FSC will be happy with their 3 winners at Stretton Anglesey. Mike Hill was their best winner 15, and Chris Watts their MVP winning 19. Richard Worthington was best winner for the Derbyshire side 10, with Andy Milsom MVP for winning 14.
