Premier Division
The George will look to build on their away win from last week in week 3 of the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League Premier Division. They host Tanworth in Arden who enjoyed a good win over Willenhall Nordley last week. Nordley will look for a good home win over Moor Lane, who have their first away game of the season. Stretton Anglesey had a good home win last week and now look to repeat that win over West Brom FSC, who will look to bounce back from their home defeat last week. The Greville Arms travel to M&B Cheslyn Hay looking for their first away win of the season. But captain Josh Hale knows it is “always a tough test away at Cheslyn Hay, we just ducked out by a couple last year. Hopefully improve on that this time round.” Home skipper Aarron Tapper says “after a tough encounter last week at Stretton were looking to get back to winning ways, however it’s always a tight game against the Greville Arms.” Moseley CC have the bye.

Wrockwardine Wood have their first home game in week 3 of the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League Division One. They take on Hamstead, who have enjoyed a good start to the season. Captain Martin Gaut is “looking forward to our first home match of the season! We’re aiming to get our first win of the season. We’re hoping for a 6-2 but we know that Hamstead have dangerous players.” Baddesley will look to build on their away win last week as they take on Belmont Services at home who have had a good start to the season themselves. Windmill have not had an away game this season yet and will look for a good result at a green they are familiar with in Woodfield. Woodfield only won 6-4 last week and they will look to improve on that. Victoria Park have had a good return to the league and will look to take advantage of Langley’s poor start to the season as they take them on at home. Baldwin meet Triplex in a local game. Baldwin skipper Jim Kernick says “I don’t see there being much in it to be honest. Triplex have already been on our green on more than one occasion already this season, so I expect a close run game. Hopefully we come out on the right side.”
