Premier Division
The George face a tough trip to Moor Lane looking for their second away win of the season in week 4 of the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League. They won 10-2 at West Brom FSC and would love a repeat, but Moor Lane will be a tough prospect at home, despite not playing there for four weeks since a 7-3 home win in the opening game. The Greville Arms have had a great start and entertain Stretton Anglesey looking for a good win, with Stretton relishing the test of a first visit to the green. Tanworth in Arden host a M&B Cheslyn Hay side reeling from their home loss last week, while Moseley CC host West Brom FSC who are still winless. Moseley captain Scott Saunders says they are “making one change from Greville away. It’s been two weeks since we last played, but the greens looking great though and we’re relishing our game with West Brom. Good standard this league, so we’ll be there bright and early practicing. We come off the back of a good Saturday result away at Triplex so let’s see how it goes.”

Division One
Baddesley look to continue their fine start in week 4 of Division One of the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League as they host Woodfield. Woodfield have come off a tough couple of home games so will hope to be able to grind out a result like those two games. At the opposite end Langley are still winless so will be looking to get off the mark at home to Wrockwardine Wood, who come off their first win last week at home. Hamstead host the Baldwin who had a great home win last week. Hamstead captain Craig Dugdale says “we are still getting used to the green at Hamstead so expect a tough game with the Baldwin, they won’t have played on our green very often so hope that should give us an advantage. I am looking for 5 or 6 winners with a reasonable plus to move us back up the table.” Belmont Services and Victoria Park have both had good starts to the season and meet in Derbyshire, but Vic Park won’t have seen the Belmont green before. Triplex host Windmill with both hoping to bounce back from contrasting away defeats last week, Triplex only got 1 winner at Baldwin while Windmill just dipped out by 3 shots at Woodfield.
