Premier Division
The top two meet in a critical clash at the top of the Premier Division Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League. The George host Willenhall Nordley already being 9 points ahead. Nordley skipper Scott Simpson is “looking forward to it. Will be a good contest regardless of the outcome on arguably the best green in the country. If we come away with a couple I will be happy.” The Greville Arms will look to take advantage with a home win over West Brom FSC, who come off a good home win last week. Moor Lane need a good home win over Moseley CC to try and catch M&B Cheslyn Hay above them, who have the bye this week. Tanworth in Arden also just need a couple of wins to avoid themselves being dragged into trouble, and host a Stretton Anglesey side who will be on a high after defeating the Greville last week.
