Tanworth & Moseley look to bounce back, Greville face Stretton test
Tanworth in Arden look to bounce back from their whitewash at The George as they take on the same team at home in week 2 of the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League Premier Division. Captain Stuart Bishop says “the team are looking to put in a good home performance tomorrow and we know it is a big challenge as the George are a very good side who know are green very well.” Moseley CC just got the one winner against Atherstone Cons last week so will be looking to reverse that when they host them this week. The Greville will also look to reverse their 8-2 loss at Stretton Anglesey last week. Skipper Josh Hale is “looking forward to our first home game of the season. Greens in great condition after the countless hours Roy has put into it. We have to work really hard at home with every game to get maximum points and that will be the same against a very good Stretton team.” Willenhall Nordley will look to build on their win at M&B Cheslyn Hay last week, with the visitors looking to get as many points as possible so not to be cut adrift at this early stage. West Brom FSC meet Windmill with both teams aiming to improve on the 7-3 result last week at the Windmill in favour of the home side.
