Reece Farr reached the final of the All England but losing out to Simon Coupe 11 in the final. The Bradmore captain had an early 9-5 lead before Simon got in the corners and with a run of 2s won the trophy for the first time. He had started off with a 9 victory over Craig Podmore, then defeated Peter Slinger 8, Atherstone Cons’ Harry Chapman 15, Anthony Walker 19 and Andy Hamman 14. Harry had beaten Scott Taylor 17 and Liam Lowery of the Greville Arms 9, while Liam defeated Jack Dyson 18 in his first game. Kevin Hocknull of Willenhall Nordley got to the Quarter Finals but lost out to Robbie Ellis 19. He had beaten Tom Eccles 9, Joey Williams 18 and The George’s Adam Weaver 13. Adam beat Dave Fisher 13 and Sam Patterson 20, while Josh Hale of the Greville had a fine win over Noel Burrows 18 first game but lost to Darren Day 19 next game. Natty Tonks of Atherstone Cons got the closest to the winner Simon Coupe on the whole day, getting 18 first round off him. Scott Follis of Moseley CC got 16 first round against Brian Walker. The Stretton Anglesey pairing of Richard Worthington and Darren Carter both lost first round against Ryan Sandham 12 and Matt Gilmore 15 respectively.
