Moseley CC defeated The George 6-4 to set up a grandstand finish in the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League. Captain Scott Saunders said it “was a great win against a title chasing George. It was fantastic around the green with supporters from other Summit clubs coming to watch. Our better players actually lost but a few good cards at the start carried us over the line and puts us in a good position to stay in the top league.” Scott himself was best winner and MVP 9, while opposition captain Elliot McGuinness was the same for them after his 21-4 win.
There is now just one point separating the top 4 teams, and two points separating four teams fighting to avoid the last relegation spot ahead of tomorrow’s last games.
