Good luck to our hopefuls representing us at the BCGBA Senior Individual Merit at Pennfields in Wolverhampton. West Brom FSCs Greg Smith starts as favourite but has a very tough opener versus Glynn Cookson. The Greville Arms’ Carl Fielding is another with a tough first game against former winner Chris Mordue, and so is Pete Cookson of Victoria Park who has Gareth Coates. Carl’s team mate Ross Dunkley has Kieran Clark, a former Junior All England winner. Penn captain Darrell Handley has Alan Manuel, with another captain, Willenhall Nordley’s Dan Bodley, taking on Michael Sweeney and Atherstone Cons skipper Matt Horton playing Damian Morrison. Ian Brown of Stretton Anglesey plays Ben Stapleton, with team mate Rikki Higgs taking on Barry Lowden.
