Summit Merit Finals Preview

The second ever Summit Merit Finals take place tonight at Langley with four players chasing the title. It’s a clash of the two Staffordshire and two Warwick & Worcester players in the Semi Finals after both got through regional qualifiers.

Darren Round finished 2nd in the League Averages of the Premier Division, just missing out to Adam Patrick on aggregate, and plays James Seville, who won 10 of his 18 games this season, both players having been part of the Warwick and Worcester side who won the Crosfield Cup two weeks ago. The other Semi sees Rory Rollason play Kevin Hocknull. Rory won the joint most MVPs this season in Division One with 6, winning 8 of his 15 games in Division One. Kevin had a similar record in the Premier Division, winning 9 of his 17 games. Kevin reached the Semi Finals last season on Langley, while James was in the Quarter Finals.

It promises to be a great night of bowling at Langley from 7.30 p.m. tonight.
