Triplex overcame the disappointment of missing out on promotion last year as they comfortably strolled to the title in Division One of the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League. They started off with three straight wins, including a 9-3 win at Belmont. After a slight rocky patch, although they did beat rivals M&B Cheslyn Hay 9-1 in that time, they won at the Royal Oak 9-3, then followed it up with a whitewash of Belmont Services and a win at Langley 10-2. Two solid four point away hauls at their main rivals, and three good home wins, meant they won the league comfortably.
