Premier Division
The bottom two meet in a big game for two sides who were fighting for the title last season in week 13 of the Premier Division of the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League. West Brom FSC host The George, with both teams in the very unfamiliar position of fighting for survival this season given the increased quality in this league. At the other end of the table the Greville Arms have all but sealed the title, and host Windmill who are still not certain of safety. Stretton Anglesey are a long way off in 2nd, and aim to consolidate that place as they entertain Triplex, who need the points at the bottom end of the table. Spokesman Conor Chamberlain says the “first league fixture between the two sides, we’re expecting a tough game given how their 4 played in the Super Cup a few weeks back.” Moseley CC are in 3rd place now after their great win at The George last week, and entertain a M&B Cheslyn Hay side only one point above the bottom two. Willenhall Nordley and Baldwin are currently mid table but know a good or bad run at the end of the season could see them finish 2nd or get relegated!

Division One
Woodfield take on joint league leaders Tanworth in Arden knowing they need a positive result to reel them in week 11 of Division One of the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League. Captain Nick Newey says “we welcome our friends from Tanworth in Arden to Woodfield and reflect on last year where the home side were victorious by 40. Tanworth currently sit second, tied on points with Boldmere and Woodfield 12 points behind in 3rd, so lots at stake. The Woodfield green promises to be pacey again giving the home team maximum advantage and we will see what happens.” Boldmere Sports & Social, level with Tanworth at the top, go to local rivals Hamstead, knowing a win there could all but seal promotion. Penn host Langley with both sides looking for a 3rd spot that would earn them some prize money.
