Willenhall Nordley will look for back to back away wins as they travel to M&B Cheslyn Hay in week 7 of the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League. M&B Cheslyn Hay have already lost at home to the Greville this season and will be desperately wanting to avoid the same fate against their Staffordshire rivals. Greville haven’t been in action for three weeks and will look for a good home win over Warwick and Worcester neighbours Tanworth in Arden. Tanworth captain Stuart Bishop says we are “hoping to pick up a few points tonight as looking at how the table is forming every point is going to be vital at the end of the season. The lads know the green but we are up against a quality team.” The George will also look for a good home result against a Moseley CC team who will want to bounce back from a home defeat last week. West Brom FSC will be looking for their first win over Moor Lane, who will fancy a good points haul at a familiar green for themselves.

Baldwin will look to continue their good form as they entertain top of the table Baddesley in week 7 of the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowls League. Baddesley have also been getting results and Baldwin know a good home win will get them in the promotion hunt. Windmill will look to take advantage of the teams they are in between playing each other as they entertain Belmont Services, who have been doing ok away from home so far this season. Woodfield will look to get their season off and running as they play Langley, who have had a poor start to the season. Woodfield captain Nick Newey is aware “Langley have a number of very good player but somehow they always seem to struggle to come to terms with the Woodfield green. We are missing John Newey tomorrow but I still think we should be looking for a 8-2 or 7-3.” Victoria Park have had a couple of indifferent results after a good start to their return to the league, and face a trip down the A518 to Wrockwardine Wood who have had two narrow home wins the last two weeks. Vic skipper Stu Edwards says “after a difficult couple of weeks we are looking to get back to some sort of form but are realistic in terms of the challenges on greens we are unfamiliar with.” Triplex are another team in good form and play Hamstead who are getting up and running this season.
